UHNBC Pediatric Mural

Inspired by the Canada Food Guide and the nursery rhyme “Hey Diddle Diddle”, the UHNBC Pediatric Mural was designed to promote healthy eating in a fun and creative way. The mural stretches across four walls and the length of each food group is proportional to the daily serving size. This mural is located on the second floor in the Pediatrics ward of the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia in Prince George. The mural was part of a self directed project for a UBC Faculty of Medicine course called Doctor Patient and Society (DPAS).

Thank you to the UBC Faculty of Medicine who support and encourage arts and humanities in medicine. Through the DPAS self-directed projects, I was able to pursue me creative and artistic side while studying medicine.
